Community Outreach
|
Future Entrepreneurs Foundation has designed the Young Innovators Reading Program. The program aims to give support in the areas of tutoring and mentorship. Our goal is to empower youth to stay in school, plan for future careers, and achieve academic success. Youth can overcome academic challenges through mentorship in the areas of building self-esteem and character.
The Young Innovators Reading Program comprises tutoring in the following subjects: entrepreneurship education, life skills, reading comprehension, language arts, and mathematics. The Young Innovators Reading Program serves youth from elementary to high school-aged students. |

Future Entrepreneurs Foundation provides many community outreach programs; one of its most popular is its Young Innovators Reading Program. Our program is comprised of Peer Tutors from grades 7th-12th and adult volunteers that work with students from grades elementary to high school-aged youth. Potential Peer Tutors must complete an application, attend a 90-minute training, and complete a background check (18 years or older). Peer Tutors meet weekly with their selected student for a maximum of 2 hours weekly using the student’s provided reading folder to guide instruction. Future Entrepreneurs Foundation conducts a monthly celebration to acknowledge students’ progress and highlight the importance of reading.
Why Learn Spanish? |
|
The Hispanic population of 63.7 million is the largest minority in the United States, with the majority being Spanish speakers. By learning Spanish, you'll be better able to communicate with Spanish speakers.
Being able to speak Spanish greatly enhances your employment resume. By enrolling in the Future Entrepreneurs Foundation Spanish class, you will learn from a native Spanish speaker who will teach beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners. Our Spanish class and tutoring services are virtual, and our tutors' schedules are flexible and available to work with your schedule.
